Ise · Azuchi Momoyama Bunka Mura

A theme park that captures the atmosphere of old Japan when samurai lived. The tower of Azuchi Castle reproduced in full scale is a famous attraction in the park. Other attractions include the Grand Ninja Theater featuring ninja performances and the Oiran (high-class prostitutes) Show fascinating viewers with beautiful kimonos. With eateries and souvenir shops located in the park, visitors can spend an enjoyable time throughout the day.

Futami Sea Paradise

An aquarium famous for southern elephant seals showing comical gestures. Humorous performance shows of marine mammals, such as sea lions and walruses throwing kisses, are popular attractions. During the "petting aquarium" time, visitors can touch the harbor seals.

Toba Bay Cruise

Cruise ships for a 50-min excursion around Toba Bay. The blue sea designated as a national park and the indented coastline are quite attractive. Ships leave Sadahama Port and stop at Dolphin Island, where dolphin and sea lion shows are performed, Mikimoto Pearl Island and the TOBA AQUARIUM. Visitors can enjoy cruising on uniquely designed ships; one of which is modeled on Ryugu-Jo, the castle in a Japanese folktale "Urashima-Taro."

Mikimoto Pearl Island

The island where Kokichi Mikimoto succeeded in culturing pearls for the first time in the world. On this approx. 24,000 ha island are the Pearl Museum exhibiting a pearl jewelry collection, Kokichi Mikimoto Memorial Hall, the Pearl Shop and Ama Stand where visitors can enjoy watching fishing demonstrations by ama, female divers, up close.

TOBA AQUARIUM

One of the largest aquariums in Japan, it houses some 20,000 marine animals of approx. 850 species. Divided into 12 zones, the aquarium includes the Marine Mammal Kingdom, Living Fossils and Mermaid Sea, where dugongs can be seen. Sea otters, finless porpoises and Commerson's dolphins are also exhibited here. Sea lion and walrus shows are popular attractions.

Shima Spain Village/Parque España

A theme park featuring Spain, the country of passion. Visitors can savor various entertainments, attractions, restaurants and souvenir shops in the park. Popular attractions include the Pyrenees, one of the largest suspended roller coasters in the world, and authentic flamenco shows. Also, a hotel and a natural hot spring facility are adjacent to the park.

SHIMA MARINELAND

An aquarium located in Kashikojima that fronts Ago Bay. This facility is divided into two sections: Ancient Aquarium, exhibiting ammonite fossils, and main Aquarium, where some 7,000 rare marine animals from 450 species from around the world are kept. The Migration Aquarium, exhibiting some 2,500 fish from 50 species, and the Ocean Sunfish Aquarium are the main attractions here.

Kashikojima España Cruise (Ago Bay Cruise)

A 50-min cruise around Ago Bay on the Esperança, a ship modeled on a real sailing vessel. Passengers can see Pearl rafts floating in the bay used for culturing pearls. The indented coastline and the unique island scenery are the best photo spots.
