With relics of the first Tokugawa Shogun, Ieyasu, positioned as the core of its collection, the Tokugawa Art Museum possesses a collection of over a dozen thousand treasures inherited by the Owari branch of the Tokugawa family for generations. Numerous swords and other weapons, as well as tea ceremony articles owned by this samurai family are on exhibit.

| Nagoya TV Tower |
A steel tower constructed in 1954 to transmit radio waves. Inside are spacious restaurants, open-air cafes and an art gallery. Its Sky Balcony at a height of 100 m above the ground gives a sweeping view of downtown Nagoya. Live concerts and other artist events are held in this tower.

| Ran-No-Yakata (Orchid Gardens) |
Aichi Prefecture is the number one producer of orchids in Japan. Here visitors
can enjoy 250 species, 20,000 pots of orchids all year long, with delicious

| NAGOYA/BOSTON MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS |
The sister museum of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, one of the largest art museums in the world. With western and oriental arts the center of its exhibition, this museum in Nagoya displays some 400,000 art works including fine paintings, while holding unique special exhibitions regularly.

| PORT OF NAGOYA PUBLIC AQUARIUM |
An urban aquarium comprising South and North Buildings. In the South Building, marine animals inhabiting five geographical areas are exhibited under the theme of "a journey to the Antarctic." In the North Building, visitors can enjoy watching popular dolphin performances as well as dynamic swimming of killer whales.

| Nagoya Port Building Observation Lounge |
In the Port Building are the Nagoya Marine Museum, exhibiting materials about the history of the Port of Nagoya, and an Observation Room that commands a 360-degree panoramic view. Also, in the permanently moored Fuji, a former Antarctic research vessel, guides explain the nature of and observation activities in the Antarctic.
