The Tokugawa Art Museum

The museum houses over 10,000 treasures inherited by generations of the Owari branch of the Tokugawa family. Items that originally belonged to Tokugawa Ieyasu form the core of the collection. Numerous swords and other weapons, as well as tea ceremony articles owned by this samurai family are exhibited.

Nagoya TV Tower  

A steel tower constructed in 1954 to transmit radio waves. Inside are banquet halls, open-air cafes and an art gallery. Its Sky Balcony at a height of 100 m above ground gives a sweeping view of downtown Nagoya. Live concerts and other artist events are held in this tower.

Fee Admission to the observation deck is 700 yen per adult.
Hours April through December 10:00 - 22:00, January through March 10:00 - 21:00.

Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts

The sister museum of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, one of the largest art museums in the world. The Nagoya branch hosts attractively themed temporary exhibitions, drawn from MFA Boston’s collection of 450,000 works.

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium

An urban aquarium comprising South and North Buildings. In the South Building, marine animals inhabiting five geographical areas are exhibited under the theme of "a journey to the Antarctic." In the North Building, visitors can enjoy watching popular dolphin performances as well as dynamic swimming of killer whales.

Nagoya Port Building Observation Lounge

"Fuji" Antarctic Museum

The Port Building houses the Nagoya Maritime Museum, which shows the history and role of the Port of Nagoya, and an Observation Lounge that commands a 360-degree panoramic view, which reopened on April 1, 2014 after refurbishment. Also, in the permanently moored “Fuji,” a former Antarctic research vessel, guides explain the nature of and observation activities in the Antarctic.

Nagoya Port Wildflower Garden Bluebonnet  

Beautiful seasonal flowers bloom in this facility's 22 gardens that spread over an extensive 20,000 sq. meters. There is also a shop selling flower-themed merchandise, and a restaurant.
