Osaka Castle Park

Osaka Castle Park is a spacious green park surrounding Osaka Castle.
In the foliage season, cherry and zelkova leaves turn red, and look very attractive against the background of the castle tower.
A row of golden ginkgo trees approximately 1 km long located on the east side of the park makes for a splendid sight. The autumn leaf coloration of the large ginkgo in front of the main enclosure, which is estimated to be 300 years old, and the wax trees to the north of the castle tower are well worth seeing.

Midosuji Boulevard

Midosuji Boulevard is a main road running north to south from Umeda to Namba in the center of Osaka City. The approximately 4 km-long boulevard is lined with more than 950 ginkgo trees. When in foliage, the ginkgo leaves turn gold, making the entire boulevard look beautiful.

Tofuku-ji Temple

The view from the Tsuten Bridge is so glorious that the bridge could be said to be a box seat for viewing tinted autumn leaves. Sanmon Gate, a national treasure, and Hojo Garden, where moss and square-cut stones are distributed in a small checkered pattern, are also well worth seeing.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple

This is a representative temple of Japan which is designated as a World Heritage site. The harmony of gorgeous tinted leaves and the main hall (a national treasure) is splendid.

Nara-Yamato Four Temple Pilgrimage

The Nara-Yamato Four Temple Pilgrimage was established by Hase-dera Temple, Muro-ji Temple, Oka-dera Temple and Abe-Monjuin Temple, each of which has a history of more than 1,200 years. It is characterized by its focus not only on domestic worshippers but also on foreign travelers. Near the reception desk of each temple, free Wi-Fi service is available. You can view a precinct guide for each temple using QR Codes. Information is available in English, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Korean and French.
