National Treasure Inuyama Castle
One of only five castles designated as a national treasure, Inuyama Castle is a rarity in that it maintains the main keep from its construction in 1537, making it one of the oldest castles in Japan to preserve its original design. Built on a small hill, the castle's upper levels provide a breathtaking view of the nearby Kiso River and Nobi Plain. Sanko Inari Jinja shrine, which sits at the foot of the hill, is a spot said to bring fortune to those seeking love. Don't miss the charming pink heart-shaped votive tablets!
