Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens

Kids and adults alike will surely enjoy seeing the vast world of flora and fauna on display at the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The zoo features about 500 animal species—among the most diverse collection of animals in Japan, and the botanical gardens boast 7,000 species of plants. The park also hosts various events throughout the year, including guided tours by the park directors, quizzes, games, and animal feeding events.
